When and how was the Kosovo School founded?
The Pristina Institute for Political Studies was founded at the very
beginning of 2003. It started as a part of a project: it was initially started with
the initiative of the Council of Europe. Back then I was working for a German
NGO called ECMI and we were bringing people to Strasbourg, in some kind
of training, and we had a study visit at the Council of Europe with the group
and then the Council of Europe saw the opportunity – they had already started
with the other Schools – and they contacted us. So this is how it all began.
