In Spain, the Law 1/1970 of April 4th is in force since 1970 and its
Regulations are approved in the Decree 506/1971 of March 25th.
The Hunting Law of 1970 abolished the law of 1902 and since its
publication it is the legal text in apply on the subject of hunting in all the
national territory.
On the other hand, we shall bear in mind that since the publication of the
Spanish Constitution of 1978 and the admission of the states of autonomies
each one of them is going to assume exclusive competences in the matter of
hunting. Therefore the Constitution, in its article 148.111 establishes the
